Hello sweet Friends! I hope you all had a fabulous January and are ready for the love month of February! Today’s post is dedicated to share with you all 3 devotionals that I have found for expecting mothers. I actually had quite a few requests for this topic- and was so excited that you all were excited about this topic. So without further ado, let’s dive in:
There’s nothing like having peace of mind during your pregnancy. Personally, reminding myself that God is right there with my babies and I, every step of the way has been so important and encouraging. I also found that reading daily devotionals were so helpful for me throughout this entire journey. The first devotional I read during my pregnancy was a book gifted to me from my mother for Christmas, and she found it at a local bookstore, so I am unable to link it. But I found so many others and good ones, which I had to narrow down!
1. Waiting in Wonder: By Catherine Larson
Amazon Rating: 4 1/2 stars
This was one of the top rated books that I came across. What I love most about this book is that it guides readers through the weeks of pregnancy with devotions designed to encourage, strengthen, and inspire. This devotional has a journal component and allows you to write your own personal thoughts and even letters to your baby/babies.
2. Expecting: Praying for your Child’s Development-Body and Soul: By Marla Taviano
Amazon Rating: 5 Stars
I liked this book because it gave you weekly updates on what your baby/babies development was- which was really nice because it gave you exactly what to pray for. If you are a first time mom like me, I had no idea what was going on week by week, so it was hard to adapt that into my prayers except for my statement of please allow the baby to continue to grow healthy- so this book would be very helpful just for that reason.
3. Your Pregnancy Devotional by Pamela Fierro:
Amazon Rating: 4 stars
I love that this book provides a biblical passage for every day of pregnancy. One of the reviewers said that this book was concise- which didn’t it make it overwhelming. They also recommended this one as a great gift for any expecting mother.
I hope this was helpful and that you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed writing it! Have a great rest of the week ladies!
